Description
The bridge consists of approximate spans around 35m, 45m, 40m & 35m, with a total length of 180 m, and 18 m wide. The deck slab is cast-in-place post tensioned concrete Box Girder. The deck is resting on the bridge abutments and piers by means of elastomeric bearings and two monolithic piers. The bridge abutments and piers are supported on piled foundations. Reinforced concrete transition apron slabs are to be provided behind the abutments wing walls to avoid any settlement of the backfilling soil behind abutments at the inlet and outlet of the bridge.
