Description
Located at the existing interchange between the eastern ring road and Abdullah bin Rashid Road (also known to Riyadh residents as the titular Exit 12), the project serves to study and design solutions for the development of exit 12 in order to alleviate congestion as well as increase its traffic capacity and improving its overall level of service, especially with the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture just south-west of the interchange. The proposed bridges consist of pretensioned girders supported on monopile foundations to facilitate construction activities.
