North-South Railway Project, Crossing Roads / KSA

Description

The North-South railway is one of the most important transportation element in KSA that intersects with many road networks and needs crossing structures in various locations accordingly. The scope of the project includes studies for the preliminary and final design in addtion to the preparation of the tender documents. The Project comprises 3 main segments of crossings namely 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. with a total length of the crossings design of about 53.6 km in addition to 29 bridges and 2 grade separated interchanges that will serve the existing and the proposed dual track with single / supported spans.

Project Components

• The crossing structures can be grouped under 3 main segments such as;

i) Segment 1.2 , 14 crossings of total length 28.000 m.

ii) Segment 1.3 , 6 crossings of total length 9.450 m.

iii) Segment 1.4 , 9 crossings of total length 16.150 m.
